Northern Showers Didn't Dampen Steph & Mike's Spring wedding
REAL WEDDINGS AT SPARTH HOUSE
We met Steph & Mike in 2015 when they chose Sparth House to be their Wedding Venue. For the past two years Steph has been the most lovely, organised Bride and an absolute pleasure to help plan her wedding. Equally Mike was an absolute joy, always laughing and always excited throughout the entire planning process.
Steph & Mike's Sparth House wedding was beautifully captured by the incomparable Kerry Woods.

CIVIL CEREMONY
Steph and her bridesmaids stayed over the night before, getting ready all together and making sure to keep their Bride calm at all costs.
They decided on a harpist to play their chosen songs for their wedding ceremony and WOW she didn't disappoint. Starting with 'Can't Stop Falling in Love' and 'Everything I Do' whilst guests arrived. Then when the time came, Steph walked down the aisle to 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing'. They even threw some Disney in for the signing of the register with Beauty & The Beast. Perfect!

DRINKS RECEPTION & PHOTOGRAPHS
In true Lancashire fashion, unfortunately the weather was grey with lot's of showers. However, in true Northern fashion, Steph & Mike and their amazing guests carried on with photographs around the grounds and enjoyed Buck's Fizz and canapés inside.
WEDDING BREAKFAST
After their wedding taster, 6 weeks prior to their wedding day, the new Mr & Mrs Calvert chose the following menu for their wedding breakfast:
Roasted Tomato Soup
Supreme of Chicken, White Wine, Cream & Tarragon Sauce
Fruit of the Forest Cheesecake, Cornish Clotted Cream
During the wedding breakfast, their amazing harpist provided the perfect background music.

EVENING RECEPTION
After the Wedding Breakfast, the weather drastically improved and the Bride & Groom snook off for some more photographs. Their guests were then entertained by live music and a caricaturist throughout the evening until they were all on the dance floor with our In House DJ till the early hours.

THE MORNING AFTER...
As a wedding venue with accomodation on site, the new Mr & Mrs Calvert booked full exclusivity of Sparth House for their big day which meant their guests that stayed with them enjoyed breakfast all together the morning. After a lot of giggles and some sore heads the Bride & Groom said goodbye to their wedding guests before taking of to Italy for their honeymoon.
