Laura & Chris’ Wedding

Laura & Chris’ Colourful June Wedding

Laura & Chris’ wedding was the epitome of cool - just like the couple themselves. Not only was their wedding a little different with some unique touches, but they were the loveliest of couples and so relaxed and chilled - meaning running their day was an absolute dream from start to finish!

Photographer : - CTR Photo - Stunning photographs as always!

Laura & Chris had their wedding with us on Saturday 25th June with 60 of their nearest and dearest celebrating their special day.

Laura began her celebrations in the Garden Apartment the night before her wedding - the perfect spot for those getting ready photos!

THE WEDDING CEREMONY…

Now, Laura & Chris didn’t actually get legally married on their wedding day - they opted for a celebrant service, meaning they had the chance to personalise their ceremony and make it unique to them. They opted for the wonderful Vikki Harris - Lancashire Celebrant who we would wholeheartedly recommend if you are considering a celebrant service (and even if you aren’t!)

Favourite little touch for the ceremony?

Laura walked down the aisle to the Bridal March, beautifully played and perfectly timed by the pianist, Jamie Wright.

The ceremony room was beautifully decorated with the most stunning wildflower displays by Felicity Farm Flowers. They matched Laura’s stunning dress perfectly! They even tied their wedding favours in to the theme with little seed packets of wildflowers for every guest. The backdrop was made by the Groom himself - along with a few other items, but they appear later!

Laura’s stunning dress was by Needle & Thread - who else?! .

THE WEDDING BREAKFAST

Now once the drinks reception, canapes and photographs has been completed. It was time to move into the Alexandra Suite for speeches and the wedding breakfast.

WEDDING MENU

Chicken Caesar Salad

Slow braised beef, chive mash and seasonal vegetables

Everyone’s favourite - sticky toffee pudding!

EVENING RECEPTION

Before the evening guests arrived, our bride and groom tried their hand at our ever popular beer and prosecco pong. It definitely looks as though Laura won!

The fun and creativity also continued into the evening, with the appearance of their very own sweetie and treat stand - featuring the couples beloved furry friends and a custom built disco ball wall to really get the party started - it was definitely a talking point!

Guests enjoyed an evening buffet of chilli dogs and Mexican Fajitas before dancing the night away to music from live band, Radio Edit

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Chadwick!
