Check-out: 07:00 – 11:00 hours

Cancellation Policy
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

Deposit Policy
The first nights stay is taken at booking.

One child from 1 to 16 years is charged GBP 15 per person per night in an extra bed. Children under the age of 16 have to be accompanied at all times.

WiFi is available in most areas and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

Food & Drink 
No food or drink is allowed on the premises for personal consumption. A charge may occur if food is found to be brought into the hotel.

Please Note:
Friday & Saturday reservations: please be advised that our standard bedrooms are located above our function suite, where weddings are held. Although the music finishes at 00:30, some noise will be encountered. Please check with the hotel as to whether a function is being held on the date. Alternatively a suite or executive room is recommended.

All calls are recorded for training purposes.



Initial Deposit of £600.00 to confirm a provisional booking to an approved booking. This deposit is a non-returnable but transferable deposit to secure your required date.

Once you have decided on the date, a provisional booking will be held for up to 14 days, after which time the date should be confirmed or released. If we do not hear from you in the 14 days the date will be released.

Further Deposit (to be paid 6 months prior to date) 50% of each day guest price.

Final Balance (to be paid 6 weeks prior to event) with projected final numbers at the final meeting with Wedding Coordinator. Final numbers and final payment will be reviewed 1 week prior to wedding. After this if your numbers drop no refund will be available. If the numbers increase your wedding coordinator needs to be made aware more than 96 hours prior to your wedding.

We are now offering an EASY PAYMENT SCHEME with any package booked, please see details below or ask our Wedding Co-ordinator for more details.

Standing order (remainder of total package price, split into equal monthly payments up to one month before the event)

Minimum numbers will apply on certain dates, please enquire when making the booking. If under minimum numbers, a room hire charge may be applicable.


All deposits paid throughout are non-refundable.
Cancellation received six months prior to the function will result in a charge of 50% of the estimated function account; 4 months prior 75%; 2 months prior the total cost of the function will be payable. We advise wedding insurance.


Menus should be chosen on the basis of all guests selecting the same dish, although we are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements or vegetarians.
Choice menus are available at a additional charge please contact your wedding coordinator to discuss your requirements. Half adult portions and children’s meals are also available.

Menu Prices are fully inclusive of V.A.T. at the appropriate rate.

No drugs/drink/food can be brought onto the premises for personal consumption. Management reserve the right to confiscate these items and guests will be escorted off the premises. Charges may apply if personal food or drink is found on the premise.

The hotel does not accept responsibility for any item or gifts brought onto the premises. (This includes the car park)

After contacting all our suppliers, we have been advised that no item on our menu contains G.M ingredients. We will be monitoring this and will inform you should any changes take effect.

Any entertainment acts (DJ or Bands etc) that are sourced by the Bride & Groom, must have valid Public Liability Insurance and produce proof of this to the hotel at least one month before the function date.


Credit cards are required to guarantee a booking.
A non-refundable deposit of £25.00 per room is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance upon check out Check in is from 2pm. Although we will try our best to accommodate an early check in, it’s not always possible.
Subject to availability we can offer special rates for guests requiring rooms the day before the wedding.
All double rooms are based 2 people sharing.
If you book more than 6 rooms and cancel less than 1 month prior to the date of check in, you are liable for full payment of the rooms.


If you wish for full exclusivity of Sparth House Hotel, all 16 bedrooms must be paid for at a double room rate.
Even if you cannot fill all 16 bedrooms you will be expected to pay for the entire room rate.
With full exclusivity you also receive exclusive access of the Regency / Bar area / Restaurant (front and back) and also the back gardens.
We reserve the right to use the annex on the left of the property for other functions as they will not come into the hotel front entrance. We will let you know in advanced that there will be another function on out of courtesy. The other function will not be allowed into the main part of the hotel or to use any of the bedrooms.
